Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor who has been a part of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently formed theater company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC She was also the company's composer, musician and text coach, as well as set/costume/music designer. In her final year, she was a lighting designer and director for SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble, however in previous year, she directed her debut.
