Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is the child of Mahendru, who has a Russian Indian mother and a Hindu Afghan father. Mahendru is fluent of German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Her parents are Russian as well as Indian. When she was 11, she choreographed a performance that earned her a slot on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden that turns into a playful Indian dancer. When she graduated of New York's top high school, she earned her bachelor's in English degree from St. John's University. She studied acting classes with the HB Studios, but then moved on to pursue improvised comedy at the Groundlings School. She was raised within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, and Russian-speaking mom Olga. At the age of 13 when her parents split up, they moved her from Kabul Afghanistan, to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell as well as Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. The role she played on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable TV performance. She has had a recurring appearance on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
